SUMMER STYLE

Summer is just around the corner, and we at Wella can not wait!  Warmer weather calls for summer dresses and sandals, and to complete the look we love to show off our lightened up locks.  Without having to spend hours in the hot sun, babylights are the perfect way to make it seem as though you’ve been hanging out at the beach all day. This look was created by @majorie_salonb.

In our new hair tutorial, check out how Wella Global Creative Artist, Alexis Ferrer, came up with one of our favourite hairstyles of the summer: babylights. These subtle, delicate highlights are great for warm weather days and work on any hair colour! In the video, Alexis demonstrated this key colouring technique of the sun-kissed, highlighted look by using our go-to products for lightening and toning, MAGMA By Blondor. Finishing it off, Alexis created texture and soft waves to dry hair using a Wella Style styling iron then applied EIMI Root Shoot and EIMI Shimmer Delight styling products for the perfect babylights look.

And for foolproof babylights hairstyle on blonde hair, be sure to check out how Wella Global Creative Artist, Hester Wernert-Rijn, made the stunning Babylights True Blonde look. For a world of inspiration and hairstyling trends, discover more Wella how-to videos on YouTube.
